Addicted To You by Krista and Becca Ritchie

New Adult Bestseller - Recommended for readers 18+ for mature content.

She's addicted to sex. He's addicted to booze...the only way out is rock bottom.

No one would suspect shy Lily Calloway's biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.

Loren Hale's best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they've pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They've mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.

But as they sink beneath the weight of their addictions, they cling harder to their destructive relationship and wonder if a life together, for real, is better than a lie. Strangers and family begin to infiltrate their guarded lives, and with new challenges, they realize they may not just be addicted to alcohol and sex.

Their real vice may be each other.

My Review

I absolutely loved Addicted To You. It is the story of Lily and Lo. Two college students whose families are extremely wealthy. They struggle with addiction and work together to hide it from their families. They are both so entangled in their own addiction and completely co-dependent on each other. They've been friends forever and fall in love. But how can they ever truly love each other when they are addicted. The authors did an amazing job portraying the shame and guilt Lily and Lo experience and even the desire to be better but the ease of not trying to get better. The character development was great and I really liked both Lily and Lo, faults and all. The backstory and plot were well put together and had me questioning things but discovering them in due time. There was love and drama and even pain and truth in so much that happened. The authors did a great job telling the story. It doesn't end with a cliffhanger but in a way that you know there will be another book because there is more story to tell. I can't wait for the next one. I am rooting for Lily and Lo!

About The Authors

Becca Ritchie claims she's from Mystic Falls, but really, she lives in Atlanta where humidity is her greatest foe. She loves comic books, blue nail polish and Jonathan Taylor Thomas circa 1995. She frequents Twitter to dish about too many TV shows, and when she's not blogging, she writes novels and has teamed up with her twin sister to collaborate on a New Adult series.
Krista Ritchie has a clone...or someone who looks exactly like her. If she's not writing books with her twin sister, she's pouring over entertainment news and ingesting copious amounts of pop culture. She likes tennis, that thing called the TV, and beating Becca (her clone) on Sega Genesis. She created  YA Book Exchange to combat her book buying addiction and started Nawanda Files, a YA Book Blog that features books into movies news, to share her love for all things bookish. Oh, and she does something called science. Whatever that is.
Krista & Becca Ritchie write New Adult books that make you cringe, gasp, and go ooh-la-la. (If you do that sort of thing.) They are currently working on the spin-offs and final books in the Addicted series. Connect with them on twitter and their website: kbritchie.com

Tug of War by K. Larsen

Impulsive, YES. Irresponsible, SURE. Necessary, PROBABLY. Going to end badly, most likely. Does any of that matter to me, no. I decided that I can't please everyone so this week my only goal is to please me. I’m a selfish cow but I can’t seem to help it. I’m Clara Lord. I own Bloodline’s Tattoo Parlor, have a filthy mouth, no filter and a really strong objection to bossy idiots, pet names and wealthy men.

You will hate me, love me or love to hate me but either way it doesn’t matter. Everything I touch turns to crap and it’s all my fault. See, I lived through hell. Then I escaped hell and carefully spent the next eight years crafting a perfect little life until Domini Napoli screwed it all up. Now nothings right. Everything’s wrong and all my secrets are coming out.

Obviously I have to fix it, my life, the problem is I don’t really trust anyone and I don’t know how. Dominic baffles me. Sawyer adores me. Amanda and Marg try to keep me in line and I live for Allie. This whole things a cluster F***. I want them both in different ways but I have Alliecat to protect in the mix. I keep thinking the only way out of this is to take Allie and run...again. Leave both men behind and go back to Allie and Clara take on the world...is thirty three too old to do that now? It didn’t seem so bad at twenty four but to have to do all that work again... crap.

Lucky Girl by Emme Rollins

From USA Today and New York Times Bestselling Author Emme Rollins
A "New Adult" Rock Star Romance
----------------------------------------------------
Who knew loving a real rock star could be so hard?

Sara is Dale Diamond's biggest fan—and one of his biggest secrets. Catapulted to fame, Dale and his band, Black Diamond, are learning to deal with the grueling realities of the music business... including frenzied groupies. Dale's agent, determined to preserve the musician's image as a sexy single man, won't let fans know he has a girlfriend.

All Dale wants is to make music and love Sara. But he's caught up in the demands of recording and touring, while Sara has graduated art school and found a job. She and her rocker boyfriend are starting down different paths. Sara knows she's the luckiest girl in the world to have Dale in her life—but luck is about to run out.

A lurking, dark past will come back to haunt them both, forcing two young lovers to face harsh realities about life and each other. When the weight of the world is on their shoulders, will Dale and Sara be able to hold it all together for the sake of their love?

Turn up your collar, feather your hair, and splash on some Polo, because we're going back to the late '80's when MTV played music videos, there was no such thing as American Idol, and becoming a star meant doing nothing short of crazy for that one, big break.

----------------------------------------------------

Note: This book is a full 58K stand-alone novel - the sequel to the Amazon Top 100 Bestselling Dear Rockstar

                                                                      My 5* Review

I received a copy of Lucky Girl for the purpose of an honest review via NetGalley.

Lucky Girl is the follow-up to Dear Rockstar. It is the story of Sara, a normal artist, and Dale, a up an coming rockstar. They have been together for sometime but Dale's manager won't let him tell the world about Sara because he feels its bad for Dale's image. Things are going good for them despite that but the past has a way of haunting the present. Can their relationship survive the difficult road ahead of them?

I really liked Dear Rockstar (4* read for me) and had high hopes for Lucky Girl. And for sure Emme Rollins didn't let me down...in fact I liked it even more! Much of the inital character development had been done in Dear Rockstar but the characters grew in Lucky Girl. I really like Sara and Dale and the love in their relationship. It was fun to watch them become who they are and grow into themselves. The plot was well developed and moved smoothly. It was a bit predictable but there were definitely a couple things that caught me off guard. The writing style flowed well kept me engaged in the story. I really enjoyed the Lucky Girl and will definitely be reading more from Ms. Rollins in the future. If you like rockstar romances you should definitely check out both Dear Rockstar and Lucky Girl.

About the Author

Emme Rollins is a USA TODAY and NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She's been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor's and a master's, one of which she's still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the "real world," because when she isn't writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives (bees are wonderful pollinators and Hello!? Honey!) and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer, Rodeo, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!

Emme loves hearing from fans, so feel free to use the contact page on her website (emmerollins.com)  to connect with her.

Forever Fae Synopsis

He leans down, lips parted, and then our lips connect... We didn’t know that this one kiss has FOREVER changed the Land of the Fae.
According to the Prophecy proclaimed many years ago, Princess Calista of the Summer Court is destined to change the Land of the Fae from the evil determined to destroy it. Her powers are phenomenal, and she secretly trains for battle with her handsome warrior friend, Merrick, who unbeknownst to her protects her heart as well, in hopes of keeping it for himself. At least, until the seductive Prince Ryder attends the Guardian Ceremony and instantly sends a fire burning through her veins and a connection so deep they both discover a love above anything imaginable.
No one knows how Calista is destined to change the kingdoms, but there is one that does. He not only craves Calista’s power, but her body as well, and his goal is to steal her power, make her his Dark Queen, and take over the Land of the Fae.
Will the evil succeed in claiming Calista’s soul? Or will the two men that fight for her heart save her from despair, and help her fulfill her destiny to become what she was meant to be.

***Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and violence. Mature readers only. Not intended for young adult readers.***

                                                                 Excerpt

“Ryder, I don’t know how or why it’s happening so fast, but my heart does feel like it belongs to you. When I saw you tonight, I felt it. The connection is there and I see it now, but what if it isn’t real?” I pull away from him to walk closer to the crystal blue water of the lake.
“Why wouldn’t it be real? It feels real to me,” he says while making his way toward me. He’s coming closer to me and all I want to do is run into his arms and feel his body surround mine. That’s what my body is telling me, but how do I find out if that’s what my heart truly feels?
Shrugging, I say, “I just think we might feel this way because of the prophecy.” Wrapping me in his arms again, he tilts my chin up so I have to look into his eyes. He’s worried and I can see the tension around the lines of his mouth.
Shaking his head, he lets out an exasperated breath.
“Why are you trying to fight this, Calista? Whatever we feel is between me and you. No prophecy or any amount of magic is going to change the way I feel in my heart.” Cupping my face in his hands, he brings his face closer to mine so our foreheads lightly touch.
Breathing lightly in my face, he whispers softly, “My heart tells me this is real, and if we can’t believe in our own hearts, then what can we believe in?”
